Movies and funny story

So, I took the kids to see "Annie" at the cinema yesterday.  We all enjoyed the movie; Drew got a little restless towards the end.  I had no idea that Cameron Diaz was in the movie!  The cinema here is different....they have assigned seats, and there are premium seats that are £1.10 extra.   By the time the movie was over, it was dark, but still really busy!    I am so thankful for the little stroller that I bought before we left, and I a, thankful that Drew doesn't fight me to sit in it.  It's perfect because it folds up really small....it's going to be very interesting once all of our stuff arrives!

We received our Ikea shipment yesterday as well, and Brad assembled the shoe cabinet, but it has to be affixed to the wall.  It's sitting in the corner of the reception room (a.k.a living room) between the wall and the couch at the moment because it only has legs on the front.  It's going to be perfect to tame the mess in the front hall, and we got approved from the landlord to drill holes today!  Woo hoo!!

A funny thing happened tonight.  I probably think its funnier than Brad.....Lauren was really anxious for Brad to get home, so she was playing with the door.  We have a lock at the top that you turn a small knob and if unlocks the door, but when brad got home it wouldn't unlock.  We tried and tried, we tried the side door to the small alley with no luck, so we called the rental company.  After a bit, I realized Brad could come through the front window.  Duh!  And he quickly realized there's a little button that slides up and down to lock the knob.  Lauren must have been playing with it!  Oh my goodness, how silly of me!!!  Sorry Brad, at least it wasn't raining!  :)
